Priority of the firmware updates

Depending on the selected devices, the structure of the KNX system and the available KNX interface, a firmware update may lead to a large volume of data and a corresponding bus load.

• With the option High priority, the Stiliger Service App attempts to transmit the entire data volume in as short a time as possible. This can influence the operation of other devices, because their data may be delayed or individual items of data can even be lost.
• With the option Low priority, the Stiliger Service App adds additional pauses between individual data packets. This interferes less with the operation of other devices. At the same time, this means that the firmware update takes longer.

The Stiliger Service App displays the projected length of the programming operation of the firmware according to the number of selected devices and the set priority. This value may deviate slightly from the actual length.
