Manual import
In addition to the automatic import, firmware data can also be imported manually, e.g. from a USB memory. Because the data is saved in the current ETS project, the manual import must be performed multiple times (per project).

The firmware data is provided in a ZIP data container, in which the firmware is signed and encrypted, together with information on the suitable device types. The names and contents of the data containers may not be changed!

The Stiliger Service App cannot check changes to the content of the data containers. Manipulated data is loaded into the device by the Stiliger Service App and then recognised and discarded when it is activated in the device.
After the import of new firmware data, the Stiliger Service App must check the current firmware versions of the devices, in order to determine which data can be loaded into the devices.
